Master Chef Dave Cinimelli’s second dish, his first dish was the Wild Goose Breast Salad, is a Sunny-side Quail egg and hornworm tempura served in a rabbit sausage sauce. The hornworm, mealworms, and quail egg were all deep fried in tempura.
Here are some photos from the second of five dishes that he prepared.
Thanks again to Dave Ciminelli for preparing such great dishes. Stay tuned because on Tuesday we bring you another episode of Eat Weird!

Those worms are disgusting. Can’t believe you ate that. I kinda felt bad for them when they squealed as Dave was throwing them in the fryer. :/

Dean: It wasn’t too “Ugh.” It was really good, I’d recommend trying it sometime. It’s definitely unique, though.
Darci: I gotta come down and visit you guys sometime. Love you guys. It might not sound that great, but it was really good.
Eliza: You feel bad for worms? What about when people put a hook through their bodies while they are still alive?

I love these videos and I love the words you use to describe the experience. Sooooo funny but strangely helpful and reassuring all at the same time.
